National Poetry Competition alert! There is a UK National Poetry Competition. Sadly you cannot enter poems that have been entered or made public before. Therefore the lyrical entries for 2009 that were to be posted on here will be submitted for the competition first - they will at least offer the judges variety other than the syrupy, faux-profound musings usually associated with such competitions.
